The Lines On My Face Spell R-A-G-E

|
Hard work you have not in your bones,
Preying upon unsuspecting others,
Your own you don't hold,
A parasite of trusting minds.

You think that you're cunning, the ways of inadequacy,
You have no clue to what it is i truly hold,
I can run faster than you and jump higher than you,
I can overcome your kind with mere wit and charm,
Its true that learned people can cause the most harm.

Standing in the shadows, i watch every one of your schemes,
My own amusement lets you wander free,
I have lived your life and seen only too well your ways,
But i have also grown older, wiser and less malicious,
To let myself wander astray.

(The Sunshine Child)

Put back the wooden planks on your window,
Drown out the light in favor of that familiar darkness,
Then sink back into the corner from where you mourn life,
Be still little child, these strange days have come to an end.

So worry not my sunshine child,
There is room enough for happiness,
Now dry your tears and attempt a smile,
Make our hearts pound and ours eyes collapse,
There is still room enough for happiness.
